I know it was a big deal when tv came of age in the early 50's. The smart money said radio was dead, and in the style we knew then, it was. It just adjusted to the new digs and lived on rather handily.
But there are still radio stars, national and local. Frank Wehrun (Frankie Warren) is probably the biggest locally. And then there's that guy all the old folks listen to.
